Child Life Rocks Romania- Fundraiser

It was another successful event last night as we had about 40 people show up to support the cause.  We were able to raise $540.00 to help fund fellow NTA'er Kathryn Davitt's mercy trip to Romania, with some of her co-workers from the Cook Childrens Hospital in Ft Worth. 
There were several generous door prizes given away, drink specials and great free food provided by our friends at Black Finn in Arlington. 
And a good time was had by all....for a great cause !

Texas Hold 'Em

I wasn't present this past Saturday evening for the Texas Hold 'Em game held at a member's house, but I heard that there was a good turnout. 
About 8 members showed up at Shawn's house and proceeded to ante up.  I don't know who walked away Big Winner, but I am sure it was a lively time!

Lots of Events on the Calendar!

Gosh!  So many things are going on and I don't think I have time to even THINK about posting HALF the events on the Februaury calendar...even though we are almost into March!

For all those people that sit home and whine about nothing to do....that's just pitiful, IMHO.
